Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital

There are TWO hospitals in Fort Worth that go by the name Texas Health Harris Methodist. Confusing, right? YES.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital DOWNTOWN is in downtown Fort Worth at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. Fort Worth, Texas 76104.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital SOUTHWEST is in Southwest Fort Worth at 6100 Harris Parkway Fort Worth, Texas 76132.

These hospitals provide very different birthing experiences. If I had a dollar for everyone that ended up at Southwest when they heard recommendations for Downtown. Again, it’s dumb that they have the same name. In the birth world, Downtown is known as Harris; while Southwest is known as Southwest.

The birthing experiences at these two hospitals could not be more different.
